Artees Sweets is built for an owner who will personally run the franchise. Its training framework is designed to teach the approved production and operating methods, the checks that protect product quality and the decisions required when something falls outside specification. No professional chef or sweet-making background is assumed by the training structure.
Week 1 · Inputs and in-house controls
Sourcing and intake. Learn approved supplier and ingredient specifications; receiving requirements for temperature, packaging and transport condition; ingredient-quality checks; lot coding, traceability, rejection criteria and intake records.
Storage and operational readiness. Cover category-specific storage conditions; first-in-first-out and first-expired-first-out rotation; calibration of scales, thermometers and meters; cleaning and sanitation procedures; and personal hygiene and contamination prevention.
By the end of the week, the trainee should understand how a controlled batch begins before production starts.
Week 2 · Production fundamentals
Learn the approved preparation and processing sequence; working ranges for time, temperature and concentration; accurate weighing, proportions and timing; batch records; and how to identify conditions inside or outside the allowed range.
The emphasis is on measured execution and complete records, rather than relying on individual cooking judgment.
Week 3 · Production control and quality assurance
Cover critical temperatures, holding conditions and time limits; common defects involving texture, structure, separation or crystallization; corrective action permitted by the system; root-cause analysis; preventive steps; and in-process quality checks.
The trainee learns not only to perform a task but also to recognize when the result requires investigation or correction.
Week 4 · Service, distribution and final assessment
Service and distribution. Practice standardized portioning, assembly, packaging and finishing; labeling and batch linkage; packaging integrity; relevant storage and delivery conditions; and throughput discipline.
Final Artees internal competency assessment. Execute the full approved process under observation. Assessment covers adherence to specifications and SOPs, critical-control compliance, quality and consistency checks, documentation and traceability.
- Pass: approved for the assessed responsibilities required at opening.
- Retry: further training and reassessment of the areas that did not meet the standard.
Opening-readiness assessment and first-90-days support
The final assessment takes place in Week 4 and is intended to confirm readiness before the store opens. It covers the approved production procedures, critical controls, quality checks, records, corrective responses and the owner’s ability to lead the store within the system. Any area that does not meet the standard requires further training and reassessment before opening approval. During the first 90 days after opening, Artees provides operational support while the owner personally runs the business.
The owner runs the store and trains employees for assigned tasks. Artees provides opening and continuing support. Explore Artees franchise support →
